A member can announce an auction by filling the mandatory information required by the "Open An Auction" section in the control panel.
It is not necessary to fix an “Upper Price Limit” in each and every auction. Any bid placed at the upper price limit in an auction does not mean that the member placing the bid will be awarded the contract.
The "Upper Price Limit" set for the auctions indicates the price, for which the auction holders are ready to sell their products right away.
The "Lower Price Limit" set for the reverse auctions indicates the price, for which the reverse auction holders are ready to purchase the product in question immediately. Any reverse auction or auction announced can be cancelled prior to the deadline for the bids provided that any offer is not bidden by any member.
The members are allowed to trade products without opening a tender. They can do so by contacting the persons or companies trading under the "showcase products" section.
