Ms Pelin Omuroglu and her father, who founded the farm, have planted nearly 12,.000 olive trees in Ayerya, selling their organic olives and olive oil under the brand name Olivurla. Turla, their family company, established their olive and olive oil processing plant in Kuşçular, Urla, in 2013, with support from IZKA ( Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development Organization of the Republic of Turkey). This was Turkey’s first solar-powered processing plant.
